• When they grow out of Cascadia, our students are ready for future success

  • Former Cascadia students returning for a visit (these went on to Overlake, Eton, Gifted Program, Seattle Girls School, and St. Louise after graduating from Cascadia)

Our fourth grade graduates are very successful in obtaining admission to the area’s next private schools and special public school programs.

Typically, all of Cascadia’s graduates obtain one or more offers of admission from the next level private schools in this area (Overlake, Forest Ridge, Lakeside, Eastside Prep, and others). For many of the previous years, tables are available upon request that show where our graduates have gone to school after completing the Cascadia program. Each table summarizes a different school year. The tables for recent school years are shown on the Placement Tables.

  • The first column indicates each individual student (names are not published).
  • The remaining columns list schools to which Cascadia students apply. In each column, a rectangle formed by a solid black line (whether or not it contains the word “Offer”) means an application was submitted for the student.
  • A rectangle that contains the word “Offer” means that the school offered admission to the student. Offers of admission indicate application successes for Cascadia students!

2015 – 2016 Overview: For the school year ending June 2016, fifteen of our fourth grade students applied to private schools for grade five. Two of our fourth grade students did not apply to private schools; they went to public school. All of those who applied to private schools received offers of admission from one or more of the schools (see placement table).

2014 – 2015 Overview: For the school year ending June 2015, fourteen of the fifteen fourth grade students applied to private schools for grade five. To illustrate one example, the first student in the 2014 -2015 table applied to Lakeside, Overlake, Eastside Prep, and another private school (BCA in this case). This student was offered admission by Eastside Prep and BCA and was put on the wait list for Overlake. All fourteen students who applied to private schools received one or more offers of admission from these schools.

2013 – 2014 Overview: For the school year ending June 2014, all of Cascadia’s thirteen fourth grade students applied to one or more private schools for grade five and three of the students also applied to the public school’s Gifted Program. All of the students received offers of admission from one or more of the private schools to which they applied. All three of the students who applied to the gifted program were determined to be qualified for that program.
